What to expect from our events

Our events mostly take place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Children of all ages are welcome at our events but they must always be accompanied by an adult.

What to bring/wear

Events are carried out in all weathers so please check the forecast before visiting and dress accordingly.  Sturdy footwear is always recommended and wellington boots are best for our coastal events.

Toilets and catering

Where events are taking place away from our visitor centres, toilets or catering are not usually available. Please check the individual visitor centre, education hub or nature reserve page to find out what facilities are available.

Parking

Events taking place at our visitor centres or education hubs have parking available, although please be aware that there is a parking charge at Spurn and the Living Seas Centre. Events taking place at other nature reserves may have limited parking - please check the individual page for more details.

Our events are Covid-19 secure

If you have tested positive or think you may have Covid-19 we ask you to stay at home. Please contact Supporter Services if this is the case and your booking will be refunded.
