Things are about to get wild!
With dozens of events taking place on our nature reserves and online, there are so many opportunities to discover Yorkshire’s wildlife.
Get ready to explore our nature reserves after dark, go bird watching on the coast or challenge yourself to a wild walk, all hosted by our very own wildlife experts. We look forward to welcoming you and enjoying Yorkshire’s wildlife and wild places together!
Find the perfect event for you
We run events all over Yorkshire, for little ones and for adults, for wildlife experts and beginner wildlife enthusiasts!
We organise our events into Wild, Wilder and Wildest categories - you can browse them below, or search by category like guided walks or forest tots. If you want to find an event near where you live, you can search by location on our map.
Living Seas LIVE
Welcome to Living Seas LIVE! Our series of monthly marine themed talks hosted by our Living Seas team. Each month we will be joined by fantastic special guests to chat about the North Sea, it's wildlife and the work that is being done to protect it.
Insects chirping, bats swishing and swooping overhead, vibrant meadows and crystal clear chalk streams - the long hazy days of summer are bursting with wildlife to discover. As Yorkshire's wild places shine in the summer sun, our events add further inspiration.
Health and wellbeing
Spending time in nature can have huge benefits for both your mental and physical health, whether that's a mindful walk or a beach yoga session. Browse our health and wellbeing events below!
What to expect from our events
Our events mostly take place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Children of all ages are welcome at our events but they must always be accompanied by an adult.
What to bring/wear
Events are carried out in all weathers so please check the forecast before visiting and dress accordingly. Sturdy footwear is always recommended and wellington boots are best for our coastal events.

Events taking place at our visitor centres or education hubs have parking available, although please be aware that there is a parking charge at Spurn and the Living Seas Centre. Events taking place at other nature reserves may have limited parking - please check the individual page for more details.
