Fundraise for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

Fundraise for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

For 80 years Yorkshire Wildlife Trust has worked tirelessly to conserve, protect and restore the wildlife and wild spaces across our beautiful County.  With your help we can continue to scale up our impact on wildlife and the wild places we hold dear.

By fundraising for Yorkshire Wildlife trust you will be raising vital funds to drive nature's recovery in Yorkshire.

Whether you run a marathon, organise a bake sale, get creative or host a coffee and cake afternoon, every action, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference to Yorkshire's wildlife.

These organisations are doing fantastic, essential work to protect the UK’s rich ecosystems — from tiny pollinators to diverse habitats, and ensuring nature thrives for all the generations to come. Wildlife and the natural world have always played a significant role in my well-being, offering peace, balance, and a reminder of what truly matters. I believe we owe it to our planet and to ourselves to give back to these amazing creatures.

Six smiling girls pose behind a table laden with cupcakes, brownies, and a cake, a sign that says "Buy a Cake" is placed in front of the table. The girls are holding stuffed animals; a shark, and a care bear. The backdrop is a butcher shop with the sign "Bakers Butchers."

Selling cakes for the sea

Inspired by the North Sea oil tanker collision in March 2025, a group of young fundraisers got together to organise a cake sale in East Molesey. The group raised over £200 together, with the cakes tasting so good that it inspired people to get online and donate more too. Great work Marnie, Mia, Millie, Amelia, Naima and Elise!
