Living Seas Events Centre

Discover the Living Seas Events Centre!

The Living Seas Events Centre is our marine engagement hub in Flamborough, where we inspire and enthuse people about the wonderful marine life we find around the Yorkshire coast.

At the centre you'll find the Discovery Room, which is open when we are delivering events and for school and group visits. There is a council-owned car park (charges apply), a picnic area, toilets (including an accessible toilet), and a neighbouring cafĂ© that is open from April to October.

We offer a fantastic events programme so you can explore what this stunning coast has to offer, including rockpool safaris, fossil hunts, boat trips, guided puffin walks and more!

We also run incredible school and group visits that meet your curriculum requirements. For information on school and group visits to the Living Seas Events Centre, please contact our Events and Experiences Officer, Sophie Atkinson (sophie.atkinson@ywt.org.uk).

LSEC school and group sessions
The activities were engaging and fun, yet educational at the same time. It was great to see the awe and wonder in the children's faces as they discovered new creatures in the rockpools.
