About the event

Looking for a gift for Mother's Day, an activity to do with friends or want to learn a new skill?

Join local landscape artist and printmaker John Dearing and learn the processes and techniques of Collagraph Printmaking, from designing and cutting your plate, to pulling your plate through a press. Take in the unique and beautiful landscape of Spurn for inspiration and watch the sunset with a hot drink as you work on your print. You will then create your very own unique and personal A5 design to take away with you. You can also bring along your own reference materials (drawings or photographs) to work from.

All materials will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for under 16s due to the tools we will be using.

Please note all 16 - 17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Coffee and tea will be provided.

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving cakes and treats.

Parking information

There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
