About the event

Join our expert guide for an illuminating, night-time adventure on the search for glow-worms at Townclose Hills nature reserve (in Kippax).

Help us complete our annual glow worm survey and learn all about these curious critters – including why this grassland is the perfect spot to see them shine. With adult glow-worms active for only a few weeks in the summer, it’s a wildlife wonder not to be missed!

We will be walking for 2 hours in the dark over tough terrain, so you will need a relatively good level of fitness and we recommend that this event is not suitable for young children and disabled people who find walking difficult.

*Please note, due to a scheduling error, the originally advertised date of Friday 21st June has now been changed to Thursday 20th June.*
