Fungi Fest - Guided Walk with Pickle and Brew

Join professional forager Andrea Burnand from Pickle & Brew for a guided autumn walk exploring the fascinating world of wild fungi during our Fungi Fest weekend.. You’ll learn how to identify a variety of seasonal mushrooms and understand the key features used in identification. 

Wander through Potteric Carr on this guided walk as you are taught how to spot different Fungi and other interesting autumnal finds. Along the way, discuss safe and sustainable foraging practices, including the edible and medicinal potential of different species. Suitable for beginners and anyone with a curiosity about the incredible diversity of fungi.

Please note, we are a SSSI site so have a 'no take' foraging policy; however you will be shown tips and tricks for how to find your own Fungi out in the wild and what you could do with them. Andrea, our expert leader will be able to answer any foraging related questions you may have.
