Join frog expert, artist and author of the fantastic Bug Belly books; Paul Morton.
This event will begin with a fascinating interactive talk all about FROGS! Children can ask questions and learn about what they can do to help frogs, newts and toads at home.
Paul will give us an exclusive snippet from his popular illustrated 'Bug Belly' children's books.
There will then be some fabulous frog themed artistic crafts - make your own bouncy frog hopper!
We will then be doing a hands-on pond dipping session, where children will be shown how to use nets and trays to sample incredible pond creatures that live here at Potteric Carr. We will have plenty of ID guides on hand to help children learn more about what they find.
There will also be signed copies of Paul's 'Bug Belly' series of books available for purchase.
