About the event

With introductions into sketching beautiful landscapes, plants and animals to be found here, developing observational skills and stepping back to connect and relax in nature.

 

Spending time in nature has been shown to improve mental health, so slow down and zoom in on the natural world to discover the secrets and patterns it has to offer.

 

Sessions focused on beginners and improvers.

What to bring

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! If it's a hot day, remember a hat and suncream!

Joining us on the day

Our events meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there is a café and toilets. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event!

Parking information

There is a ÂŁ5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
