You'll join our hardworking team and help maintain and protect Yorkshire's majestic coastline and all the species that call it home.

Know before you go

Dogs

No dogs permitted

Dogs are welcome in the Spurn Discovery Centre and on designated trails at Spurn, but they are not permitted on the nature reserve. 

Mobility

This event takes place on our beach which has uneven terrain. It also includes the use of litter pickers and involves carrying, often heavy, bin bags.

What to bring

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers or sun cream and a hat for sunnier days.

Joining us on the day

Our events meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there is a cafe and toilets. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event!

Please meet at our picnic benches in the Spurn Discovery Centre's outdoor auditorium.

Parking information

There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
