Spurn Ranger

Location:
Spurn has had many different uses by humans over the years and you can see the rich history of the landscape right before your eyes, not to mention the abundance of wildlife. As there are so many interesting features on this site that is 3 miles in length, we need volunteers out and about on the reserve to engage with visitors at certain points, including the wash-over at high tides and to help keep people safe.

You'll be part of a team of volunteers who help to make Spurn a fantastic place to visit, you'll enjoy spending time talking to people and helping them to have an inspiring day.

Full training and induction to the role will be given, you'll just need to bring lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to make each visitors trip to Spurn a memorable one!

Volunteer Drop In Event

Come and meet the team at an Open Day on Saturday 23rd March at the Discovery Centre Spurn. It’s our one year anniversary since we opened the new centre to the public and we’ll be holding an open day to celebrate. We’ll be combining the celebrations with the opportunity for anyone thinking of volunteering at Spurn to drop in and speak to us and some of our existing volunteers. The event will be running 11am until 3pm, so please come by and find out how you can get involved!
