About the event

Join us for a rockpool safari with a difference! As many creatures in the rockpools are nocturnal, we'll be heading out under the cover of darkness to see what goes on in our rockpools at night during an extremely low tide. Come with us to seek out lobsters, giant crabs and starfish!

Don't forget to bring a torch (headtorches are best).

Saturday 20th February - 9:30PM to 11PM

Saturday 17th April - 8:45PM to 10:15PM

Please note, children must be supervised by an adult throughout the event.

The beach is accessed via a 5-minute walk down a road. The event will involve walking over uneven ground on the rocky shore and on slippery surfaces in the dark.

Please ensure to wear suitable footwear, waterproof clothing and bring a torch. We will be walking through rockpools so waterproof shoes are required - wellies would be best.
