Ground Nesters on Parade

Two people wearing large, detailed bird costumes with long, curved black beaks are walking across a grassy area. The costumes resemble curlews, with brown and white mottled wings. One person is in the foreground, wearing dark blue leggings and brown boots, in motion. Another person, partially visible behind the first, wears grey pants and brown shoes. The background includes a tree, a brick building, and a glimpse of a cloudy sky.

About the event

Join us in celebrating our ground nesting birds in a short parade around Settle. Enjoy percussive music and show off any crafts you’ve made during the day as we make noise and raise our voices in support of these special birds.

The parade will be marshalled and restricted to paths. It is family-friendly and will move at a slow pace.
