About the event

Bird-watching and photography is one the fastest growing hobbies in the UK. If you are interested in bird photography, or looking to improve your technique and results, why not join professional nature photographer, Andy Atkins, and immerse yourself in YWT Staveley's wildlife, while you learn the simple, and not-so-simple, skills that turn an ordinary 'record shot' into an image you want on your wall. As you move around the various reserve habitats, Andy will cover subjects such as camera settings, subject lighting, composition and post-processing. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, as this is a small group workshop.

A bit about Andy, he is a member of the Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers and has received recognition in national and international competitions, including the annual ND Awards and the Society of Photographers Awards.
