About the event

Join us for a hands-on coastal workshop celebrating the beauty and versatility of seaweed!

Combining natural materials with a little creativity, you’ll have the opportunity to craft a set of unique soaps to take home while discovering more about the fascinating qualities of seaweed.

Afterwards, we’ll head down to the beach to explore the shoreline and collect seaweeds, discovering the wonderful variety of shapes, colours and textures found along our coast. Using our carefully gathered seaweeds, we’ll create beautiful seaweed pressings, preserving their delicate forms and natural patterns as unique pieces of coastal artwork.

Whether you’re curious about coastal nature, love getting creative, or simply want to try something a little different, this session offers a chance to slow down, connect with marine wildlife, and discover new ways to appreciate the wonders of seaweed.
