About the event

Join @garden.of.moths for a marvellous moth expedition, learning more about their habitats, before heading back to the centre for a well-earned brew and some biscuits. You'll then spend the rest of the morning doing cyanotype printing whilst learning more about these intriguing creatures and their wild ways.

 

No prior moth knowledge required! First time lepidoptertists welcome.

What to bring

What to bring/wear

Our events mostly take place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! If it's a hot day, remember a hat and suncream!

Toilets and catering

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food.

Joining us on the day

Our events meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there is a cafe and toilets. Please arrive with plenty of time before your event!

Please meet at our picnic benches in the Spurn Discovery Centre's outdoor auditorium.

Parking information

There is a £5 parking charge, which helps us to maintain the centre and look after the reserve. There is free parking for Wildlife Trust members who display their up-to-date membership card on their car dashboard.
