About the event

Join @garden.of.moths for a marvellous morning celebrating the hidden world of moths! We’ll begin by carefully opening a moth trap set the night before, giving you a chance to get up close with a variety of coastal species up close, while learning about their unique features and behaviours.

Following this, we’ll head out on a relaxed guided walk around South Landing to explore nearby mothy habitats. To round off the experience, we’ll get creative with a hands-on cyanotype workshop. Using a mix of materials and simple photographic techniques, you’ll create your own beautiful moth-inspired artwork to take home.

This event is perfect for nature lovers, curious beginners, and anyone looking to connect with wildlife in a creative and engaging way. No prior moth knowledge required!
