Would you like to get stuck into some outdoor conservation work?

Join us for a day of practical conservation and reserve management tasks at Low Wood, an attractive, secluded woodland which is notable for its beautiful spring displays of bluebell and foxglove, coupled with occasional sightings of badger and roe deer.

We have opportunities for new volunteers at task days at Low Wood. Before attending a task day, you need to complete the registration form below, and to contact John Preshaw, Task Day Leader at Low Wood, to book onto a session. Once we have received your registration form, we’ll be in touch about the next steps to get you started.

If you have any problems with the webform please contact us and we’ll be able to help you.

Practical task days at Low Wood will take place on:

Thursday 13th January 2022

Thursday 10th February 2022

Thursday 10th March 2022

We hope to get you volunteering as soon as possible, however we reccommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment as our task days can be very popular.

Do you have any convictions which are unspent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974?
Holding an unspent conviction does not automatically exclude you from volunteering with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. We encourage you to discuss this with us.
