About the event

Discover how to provide a variety of vital wet habitats to attract a wide range of species to your garden, then create your very own container pond or hoverfly lagoon to add to your garden, yard or allotment.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Mobility

This event takes place indoors at the Cre8 Barn, however, if you wish to visit Stirley Nature Reserve before or after the workshop, there is a network of accessible footpaths throughout the reserve.

The car park and Cre8 Barn are suitable for wheelchair access. Public rights of way around the reserve can often be steep with uneven or muddy ground.

There are toilets, accessible toilets and a picnic area on site. Please feel free to bring food and drink with you, but please dispose of rubbish responsibly.

What to bring

This event takes place indoors and all materials are provided. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes.

If you plan to visit the reserve, waterproof clothing and lots of layers are also recommended, as well as binoculars if you wish to do any bird spotting!
