Using our bat detectors to listen for bats, we can hear their unusual sound and perhaps catch sight of them too!

Mobility

Network of accessible footpaths throughout the reserve. Circular route to Castle Hill (with some road crossings) via public rights of way. Trail to Upper Park Wood which has magnificent bluebells in the spring.

The car park and Cre8 Barn are suitable for wheelchair access. Public rights of way around the reserve can often be steep with uneven or muddy ground.

There are toilets, accessible toilets and a picnic area on site. Please feel free to bring food and drink with you, but please dispose of rubbish responsibly.

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! Sturdy footwear is always recommended

Waterproof clothing/insect repellent (weather dependent), torch (night event), binoculars.
