Ingleborough's Iconic Wildlife
Home to some of the best limestone pavements in the country, brightly coloured patches of grassland wildflowers, and extremely rare flowers, our great mountain lies in a truly unique and special landscape. In fact, it’s estimated that Ingleborough and the surrounding landscape is home to a third of the UK’s plant species. Species which in turn provide places for butterflies and birds to rest, feed and find a home.
