• Calling all volunteers! - Vehicle Maintenance Volunteer
  
  The Trust has a pool of up to eight vehicles based at the office at St George’s Place. To ensure the safe and efficient running of these vehicles, they need to be checked on a weekly basis.
  
  Checking the vehicles weekly is important for the safety of our staff using them, and so this is a really important role that carries responsibility with it, and we would be really grateful for a volunteer who could bring some knowledge and experience of vehicles to assist with this important task.
  
• Calling all volunteers! - We’ve got a shortage of volunteers able to assist the Yorkshire Peat Partnership staff with surveys in the Dales.
  
  The surveys involve peat depth measurements, vegetation identification, and data logging onto a handheld mapper. It can involve walking quite a few miles a day over very rough and boggy ground with rucksacks and equipment. Volunteers would need to come prepared for all types of weather and wet conditions underfoot. We’d also need volunteers to be able to get to site or a convenient meeting point.

• Calling all volunteers! - We are trying to keep a record of all volunteer email addresses. Could all volunteers who have an email address please forward your addresses on to Jo Meays. This will allow us to occasionally send you updates and information via email allowing us to save paper.
