Membership
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is the only conservation organisation working in all parts of Yorkshire. Established in 1946, the Trust has helped to secure the future of many species and habitats which may otherwise have been lost.
We need your help and support to continue this vital work not only now, but for the sake of future generations. Without our members, we would not be able to protect wildlife in Yorkshire.

In only the last few years, the Trust has:
- Managed 80 of best wildlife sites in Yorkshire and helped others manage theirs.
- Created more than 60ha of dedicated reedbed for bittern, one of the UK's most endangered birds, at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve;
- Worked tirelessly to secure the future of Yorkshire's water vole population;
- Restored and maintained some of the last remaining lowland heath habitat in Yorkshire;
- Campaigned successfully for wildlife-friendly development.

Minimum Membership Rates
These are the minimum amounts for each category, but if you choose to give more this will allow us to carry out more of our essential work in making Yorkshire better for wildlife
- Individual - £24
- Concessionary – Student, OAP, Unwaged - £19
- Joint – Two people at the same address - £30
- Joint Concessionary – Two concessionarys at the same address - £24
- Family – Parents plus Wildlife Watch membership for any children under 15 (with extra magazines, newsletter and posters, just for young wildlife enthusiasts) - £36
- Schools - £30
- Group – e.g. local naturalists' societies - £30
