Gala Dinner
Following the success of last year's event, the 2008 Gala Dinner, with guest speaker Chris Packham, will take place on Friday 21st November at York Racecourse.
The Gala Dinner is the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's major social event of the year, raising money for the Trust to protect wildlife across the region.
Book before 26th September to receive a special discount rate of £65 per person including drinks reception, a 3 course meal with wine, plus a speech from our guest speaker Chris Packham and a charity auction and raffle. Yorkshire Wildlife Business Awards
This year the Trust is launching the annual Yorkshire Wildlife Business Award to recognise and reward the efforts made by businesses to conserve and enhance Yorkshire’s wonderful wildlife.
How to enter
To enter your business for this award, please tell us in no more than 500 words what your business has done in the past year to conserve and enhance Yorkshire’s wildlife. Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges.
Completed entries, including a contact name and telephone number and any supporting information, should be either emailed to joe.cole@ywt.org.uk or be posted to; Joe Cole, Head of Business Development, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, 1, St. George’s Place, York, YO24 1GN.
The deadline for entries is 17th October 2008 and this year’s award will be presented at the Gala Dinner at York Racecourse on 21st November 2008.
