Treasure Hunting and Ghosts
Okie Dokie, So I’m up in Spurn again, and this is the first day I’ve been here when It’s rained, so I thought I’d make the most of it and write a post.
So far It’s been pretty productive with a few good interviews, and 3 more lined up over the next couple of days. Now it’s got colder theres no one around in the week, so I’m starting to go a bit crazy… staying in the OB’s building on your own out here is pretty creepy, especially when people start talking about ghosts and mentalists who come a’ knocking.
Last night we went to a talk in Easington about the railway that was put in for the war, really interesting talk and I’ve got a few leads from it, and it’s also sent me on a treasure hunt for some tunnels (which I think I’ve found), so if If no one heres from me again, I’ll be stuck down there (probably with the ghosts & mentalists).
Theres some real good stories coming out and tracking down some of the bits from old Kilnsea church is a gooden!
So, I’ll put the kettle on, have a brew, and head back out!
