Bring Science and Geography to life

From magnificent meadows, woodland, wetland, a working farm and rocky shores we can cover a huge range of the science and geography curriculum with hands-on experiences.

Our activities can be adapted for a half day or full day session with appropriate activities chosen based on your particular learning outcome needs and pupil age range.

Learning outcomes may include:

  • Classifying and grouping living things based on observed characteristics
  • Identify how animals and plants are suited to their environment
  • Carry out geographical skills including map work, fieldwork and survey techniques
  • Understand the impact of humans on our natural resources
  • Investigate life processes, food chains and life cycles

Creative Curriculum

Getting out from beyond the desk and out in the natural world can inspire real creativity as it captures your pupils’ imagination. Using our nature reserves as a backdrop to learning we can cover a range of subjects including English, Maths, Art and Design, P.E. and much, much more.  This practical approach supports young people develop their resilience, confidence and critical thinking as they learn through doing.

  • Produce creative work exploring their own ideas
