Spinny's new home

Spinny's story continues...

A new home for Spinny at last…

After a long journey around the nature reserve, Spinny was weary and wasn’t sure if they’d ever find a new home. Crawling up towards the nearest house, Spinny found a quiet spot to curl up and sleep.

The next day, Spinny blinked open one eye and stretched all eight legs. With a big yawn, they stood up, ready for many more hours searching.

But wait...

In the daylight, Spinny could clearly see where they’d rested for the night. It was comfy, dry and nicely sheltered for their web. It was a perfect new home! But where was it?

A friendly looking building loomed above Spinny - it was a home for humans too.

In the end, Spinny’s perfect home...  also belongs to you.

The end

Sharing your home with Spinny

You share your home with Spinny and many of their friends! Many people are scared of spiders, but there's really nothing to be nervous about! They need somewhere to live, just like you.

Spinny discovered they were a house spider! There are lots of different types of spiders, and they all have places they call home - whether that's a house, a garden or a forest. Please don't take house spiders outside, or disturb spiders who are living outside - they're quite happy to live alongside you in peace!
