About the event

What is #TeamWilder?

Yorkshire’s wildlife is in crisis and our natural world has never mattered more, which is why we must come together to bring about its recovery.

#TeamWilder is a rapidly growing movement of people who care about our environment and want to help wildlife thrive not only in nature reserves, but in urban towns and cities right across Yorkshire.

Through #TeamWilder we are empowering Yorkshire’s communities to act for a wilder future.

You can find out more on our website at ywt.org.uk/team-wilder.

What is a #TeamWilder Empowerment Day?

Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be signed up to #TeamWilder to join in!

These events are designed to inspire you to make a difference for wildlife at home and in your community!

Join our summer Empowerment Day to find out how you can become involved in #TeamWilder and play your part in creating a wilder Yorkshire.

By joining in, you’ll…

  • Connect with like-minded people and discover how communities across Yorkshire have come together to make a difference for nature with #TeamWilder.
  • Be inspired by presentations, walks and practical workshops to develop your ideas and build your skills to take the action nature needs.
  • Meet volunteers from local groups as you discover how you can play your part in creating a wilder Yorkshire.
