We are looking for Butterfly surveyors to help us with our Wild Ingleborough project, a large-scale multi partnered project which aims to restore a unique area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and will involve large-scale restoration to create a 'mosaic' of  wildlife habitats.

Butterflies have been selected as an important species to monitor as population trends can be an indicator of local changes to nature reserves. The data will also be submitted to Butterfly Conservation Trust to be used to monitor butterfly population trends across the country which is vital for understanding present populations and protecting them for future generations.
