Stirley Thursdays - Practical Conservation Day

Location:

Stirley,

Hall Bower Lane
,
Berry Brow, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD4 6FA
Stirley Community Farm is an inspirational place which is bringing back wildlife to farming, and working with local people to achieve healthy living and a healthy environment in this corner of Huddersfield.

There are heaps of habitat management tasks to get stuck into and we want to grow a group of regular weekly volunteers to help us look after this special place. We are restoring the grassland to increase the diversity of flowers, insects, birds and mammals.

This a beautiful site, located on the side of a valley looking across Huddersfield.
