It'll be a interesting mix of tasks, you'll be part of a greta team and you get to do it all in fantastic surroundings.

You'll need a good level of skills when it comes to DIY and a backround in a trade such as building, plumbing or electrician is definately welcomed!

More information and applying for this role

Potteric Carr Visitor Centre and Education Centre are fantastic places to inspire people about nature. Both these buildings need to be functioning and presentable at all times and sometimes repairs and maintenance are required to ensure visitors have a fantastic experience when they visit the site.

There are often jobs within our car park and paths around the VC that are in need of maintenance and this will also be part of the role. Wider estate fabrics (livestock fencing etc) will be responsibility of the Reserves volunteers. Most common repairs will require specific skills such a plumbing, joinery, carpentry but may also be simple DIY tasks. A knowledge or experience of one of the above trades would be useful.
