Learning & Events Voluntary Trainee

Location: Various locations, Yorkshire
We are looking for a new voluntary trainee who is great with people of all ages and has bags of enthusiasm for wildlife and learning. You will be involved in the planning of a diverse events and education programme at Potteric Carr nature reserve in Doncaster working with families, adult learning, and sessions aimed at improving health and wellbeing.

You will be assisting with the development and delivery of a wide range of environmental education activities, family events during school holidays, Forest Tots sessions, talks, workshops, training events, home education sessions, open days and school visits. This traineeship will enable your communication and presentation skills to develop, which will assist in confidence building, and knowledge building. As you will be based at Potteric Carr nature reserve and through this you will also gain invaluable ID skills and management experience alongside experienced staff.

The role is for 12 months, for 3 days a week, come with a competitive training budget, access to the internal volunteer training programme (free) and travel expenses.
