We are looking for a Peat Project Officer who will be a key part of our dynamic Peatland Team. This post will include a variety of activities consisting of surveying damaged peatlands; liaising with landowners and managers; media communications and interviews; developing tenders and coordinating and overseeing contracts for peatland restoration; and running awareness projects.  

As well as being passionate and enthusiastic about our mission to secure Living Landscapes and Living Seas, you will have practical experience of GIS software as well as experience of land management for nature conservation and peatland ecology and management. You will have excellent communication skills to engage with a wide range of audiences and have a keen interest in peatland restoration. This post will be based at our Skipton Office in the longer term but will be temporarily based at home.
