What's on

Come join us on some of the following events from our action-packed, exciting and diverse programme.

Payment for all events is required in full at time of booking.

Please be advised that we cannot offer any refunds for event bookings, with the exception of events costing more than £20 per person where a 50% refund will be given if a customer cancels at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the event.

Customers can request an amendment to an event attendee by contacting our York office on 01904 659570.

If an event is cancelled by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, alternative dates will be offered. If no alternatives are available, a full refund will be issued.

    Venue: Adel Dam, Next to Golden Acre Park Leeds West Yorkshire

    As part of our 50th aniversary celebrations we invite you to experience this lovely reserve. Our knowledgeable volunteers on site can show you around and 'Guides in the hides' will be pleased to help to identify the wildlife you see.

    Venue: Townclose Hills, Westfield Lane, Kippax

    Come and explore the woods at Townclose Hills looking at the trees and wildflowers in this ancient semi-natural woodland. We will identify the common flora spotted in the woodland and hopefully come across some of the rarer species that can be found on this special site.

    Monthly forest play for pre schoolers. Expect woodland games, crafts, practical tasks and a camp fire! Food snacks are included so please let us know in good time if you or your child has an allergy.

    See if you can find as many different kinds of wildlife and make a super list for this day at Spurn. Dip for aquatic creatures, spot birds and insects and get down low to see our tiny worlds. It's amazing what is out there.

    Venue: The Old Stables Church Hall, next to Adel Church, Church Ln,

    Come to a celebratory talk about Adel Dam in its 50th year. Speakers include Peter and Mary Larner. Peter was present in the first days of the reserve and has a great wealth of knowledge about the site.
