What's on

Come join us on some of the following events from our action-packed, exciting and diverse programme.

Payment for all events is required in full at time of booking.

Please be advised that we cannot offer any refunds for event bookings, with the exception of events costing more than £20 per person where a 50% refund will be given if a customer cancels at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the event.

Customers can request an amendment to an event attendee by contacting our York office on 01904 659570.

If an event is cancelled by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, alternative dates will be offered. If no alternatives are available, a full refund will be issued.

    Join us as we discover what is left on our beaches and help tidy Spurn and the North sea along the way to protect our valuable marine wildlife.

    In the next 12 months new Inspiring People and Welcome Volunteer roles will be being developed at Potteric Carr. We need people who can spare a few hours to help with events, leading and assisting our growing events and engagement programme. Also people who would like to work in a busy shop welcoming visitors and selling products.

    New series of monthly lectures by experts in specialist topics. Find out something new and enjoy a cuppa and a cake! This week Prof George Lafferty of the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester is joining us. George will be talking about Antimatter, one of the most exciting physics discoveries of the 20th century, and weaving in its connection to nature.

    Join reserves manager for a guided walk around North Cave Wetlands. We will be looking for the varied wildlife on this ever expanding reserve. This is a great time of year to find the wintering species of wildfowl waders and thrushes.
