Please donate by the end of February to help us raise £30,000 for Stirley Community Farm
We launched the Stirley Community Farm Programme with tremendous local support. Following plenty of hard work we are on the cusp of beginning something really exciting!
Meadows teeming with wild flowers, the air filled with the sound of skylarks and buzzing of bees, and barn owls gliding through the night sky - we need your help to make this vision a reality. We are delighted to have been offered a £300,000 grant from Veolia Cre8 Challenge Fund to take forward our plans of restoring the traditional stone barn to create a hub for learning, events and wildlife conservation.
However, the restoration project will cost a lot more than this so to ensure this project is a success, we need to find £30,000 of funding. Our vision for Stirley Community Farm is a functioning low carbon, sustainable farming enterprise, surrounded by wildlife rich meadows where people can come and learn skills which will benefit their local wildlife.
Thanks to the generosity of Stirley's supporters we have raised over £22,000 already - this money will ensure the success of the barn restoration project, allowing us to create an education centre for all. Please read on for details of how you can donate.
