How can I get involved?

Volunteering with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is a great way to get out and meet new people, learn new skills and make a real contribution to nature conservation.

We run regular volunteer task days on Tuesdays from 10am - 4pm. Please contact Kim Warren if you would like to join us on 01484 663 185.

If you would like to volunteer at Stirley Community Farm some of the tasks will include:

  • Repairing walls, fences and field access
  • Monitoring wildlife and changes in the landscape
  • Working with livestock
  • General farm and countryside management
  • Tending the garden and veg. growing areas
  • Assisting educational activities
  • Helping to plan and run events celebrating local food

To volunteer:

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Jo Meays by email or telephone 01904 615573.
